III. RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES

Brief Description of Activity
1 Mentoring Program In February 2017 we participated in a community meeting to collaborate in conversation regarding the lessons of Black History Month to provide a road map for community diversity and education outreach to build strong career paths for New Orleans youth. 504 Forward  is a New Orleans mentoring initiative designed to build a foundation of mentoring guidance to achieve positive and sustainable futures.

 

 

2 Mentoring Program In April 2017 we participated is a community cultural arts event in collaboration with the New Orleans Film Festival regarding documentary story-telling for the new environment of social media links to role-model cultural life-skills guidance to provide positive education, social and cultural life-skills. The New Orleans Film Festival cultivates diverse voices of creative communication and media.

 

3 Mentoring Program In June 2017 we continued our outreach for Give Nola Day to support follow up efforts to business for charitable giving to diverse non-profit groups that provide community initiatives for children and family development. The Greater New Orleans Foundation connects donations to support community programs to help build sustainable and positive futures.

 

4 Mentoring Program In August 2017 we joined the community summit conversation on ways to better communicate regarding conflict resolution and collaborate on self-improvement goals to foster safer communities. The Peacekeepers Group is a community organization designed to create neighborhood and community awareness dialogue about overcoming negative behavior and building positive futures.

 

5 Mentoring Program In October 2017 we participated in the pre-event workshop and event for the UNCF Walk for Education to support historic New Orleans University programs with scholarship, research study and career internship programs. The UNCF is a community support and fundraising organization designed to support University level financial and education opportunities for students
